James Hodge
With a deliberate focus on meaning rather than money, Jim Hodge became the most prolific fundraiser in the history of Mayo Clinic. A nationally-sought after speaker, Jim teaches graduate-level classes in philanthropy. He currently leads the principal gifts team at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, charged with raising gifts of $1 million and more, and he helps shape strategies around big ideas across the academic medical campus.

Scott Arthur, Workshop Team Teacher
Scott Arthur has 18 years of experience as a fundraising leader at major medical institutions and nonprofits, including Nationwide Children’s Hospital Foundation and Mayo Clinic. Scott currently leads the advancement team at the University of Colorado’s Anschutz Medical Campus, which is comprised of 45 personnel, including marketing and communications teams. The team he leads has raised 2.5x more than what was raised prior to his leadership. His expertise lies in how to create more with less, using office values and culture to produce fundraising results.
